nā jāni kateka khai phula paḍe
bājana śunite dui śravaṇa upāḍe

 
TRANSLATION
“We could not even imagine how much puffed rice and kaḍi (small conchshells) were being showered. Our ears were almost shattered from the sound of the musical instruments.”

TRANSLATION
As the Lord approached the Kazi’s house, the Kazi heard the loud vibration of the musical instruments.

ati-manohara yajña-sūtra-vara

e bujhi ananta hai’ guṇavanta
rahilā paraśa-lobhe

 
TRANSLATION
An enchanting brāhmaṇa thread adorned His chest, which was filled with compassion. It appeared that the glorious Ananta had assumed that form with a desire to touch the Lord.

TRANSLATION
Mother Yaśodā and mother Rohiṇī, acting most affectionately toward their two sons, offered all the best things to Them in response to Their every desire and at the various appropriate times.

TRANSLATION
While performing kīrtana in this way, everyone forgot their bodily charcteristics such as distress and lamentation.

javāneń ko hāthi ghoḍe buḍḍheń ko palki
nanda ke ānanda bhayo jaya kanhaiyā lāl kī

 

TRANSLATION

1) Nanda Maharaja is embedded in bliss! All glories to the darling Kanhaiya!

2) In happiness, Nanda Maharaja gave elephants, horses and palanquins. All glories to the darling Kanhaiya!

3) To the young people, Nanda Maharaja gave horses and elephants, to the old people palanquins.
