ihāra śravaṇe mātra mile bhakti-dhana

 
TRANSLATION
By hearing about the mercy bestowed on Vijaya and the acceptance of Śuklāmbara’s rice, one attains the wealth of devotional service.

upāhvayat sa vyanadan mṛgendra-vat

 

TRANSLATION
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: The demon Keśī, sent by Kaṁsa, appeared in Vraja as a great horse. Running with the speed of the mind, he tore up the earth with his hooves. The hairs of his mane scattered the clouds and the demigods’ airplanes throughout the sky, and he terrified everyone present with his loud neighing.

Śrī Akrūra said: O King, you have expertly devised a process to free yourself of misfortune. Still, one should be equal in success and failure, since it is certainly destiny that produces the results of one’s work.

TRANSLATION
Bhaktivinoda feared that if the crying became too loud the Lord’s ecstatic dancing would be disturbed. Realizing the situation, Śrīvāsa quickly went inside the house.
