Srila Dhanurdhara Swami spent Gaura Purnima (the appearance day of Sri Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu) this year with the wonderful devotees in Albany, New York. Along with Srila Varsana Swami, Dhanurdhara Maharaja spoke on Madhya section of Sri Vrindavana dasa Thakura’s Caitanya Bhagavata.
Both maharajas spoke in the morning and in the evening. This is the evening class (Thanks to Tushar for the recording) and we hope to have the morning class up soon.

In today’s class, Srila Dhanurdhara Swami’s begins with Bhakti Sandarbha. The Bhakti Sandarbha is the fifth part of the Sad Sandarbha (six sandarbhas) which was originally started by Srila Gopal Bhatta Gosvami but then expanded upon and completed by Srila Jiva Gosvami.
The Sad Sandarbha’s six parts are as follows.
Srila Dhanurhdara Swami starts the class with Anuccheda 235 where the concept of saranagata, surrender, is explained.
