tam āgataṁ samāgamya
kṛṣṇasyānucaraṁ priyam
nandaḥ prītaḥ pariṣvajya
vāsudeva-dhiyārcayat
TRANSLATION
As soon as Uddhava arrived at Nanda Mahārāja’s home, Nanda came forward to meet him. The cowherd King embraced him in great happiness and worshiped him as nondifferent from Lord Vāsudeva.
