devy-ādeśena taṁ mantraṁ
vivikte satataṁ japan
dhanecchāyā nivṛtto ’bhūl
lebhe ca hṛdi nirvṛtim
TRANSLATION
On the order of the goddess, he chanted the mantra constantly to himself in a secluded place. Gradually he gave up his desire for wealth, and his heart became satisfied.
