tato ’bhivādya devarṣim
uvācendraḥ śanair hriyā
bho gāndharva-kalābhijña
kiṁ mām upahasann asi
TRANSLATION
Indra then welcomed Nārada and in a soft voice humbly said: My dear Nārada, expert in the arts of the Gandharvas, why are you making fun of me?
