kṛṣṇas tv anyatamaṁ rūpaṁ
gopa-viśrambhaṇaṁ gataḥ
śailo ’smīti bruvan bhūri
balim ādad bṛhad-vapuḥ
TRANSLATION
Kṛṣṇa then assumed an unprecedented, huge form to instill faith in the cowherd men. Declaring “I am Govardhana Mountain!” He ate the abundant offerings.
