krsnasya karunya-kathas tu dure
tasya prasayo bata nigraho ‘pi
kamsadayah kaliya-putanadya
baly-adayah prag api saksino ‘tra
tasya prasayo bata nigraho ‘pi
kamsadayah kaliya-putanadya
baly-adayah prag api saksino ‘tra
TRANSLATION
We speak of Krsna’s kindness, but even the punishments He metes out are worthy of praise. To this there have been many witnesses–including Kamsa, Kaliya, and Putana and, in the more distant past, Bali and others.
