trīl lokān pradahan mahat
dahyamānāḥ prajāḥ sarvāḥ
sāṁvartakam amaṁsata* 

TRANSLATION
All the population of the three worlds was scorched by the combined heat of the weapons. Everyone was reminded of the

*sāṁvartaka*

fire which takes place at the time of annihilation.
