March 28, 2015 — Overview of Nectar of Devotion/ Definition of Pure Devotional Service (Preface and Introduction)

The Nectar of Devotion is Srila Prabhupada’s summary study of the Bhakti-rasamrita-sindhu, a 16th century text by Srila Rupa Goswami, the chief disciple of Sri Chaitanya. It is considered within the tradition to be the most complete analysis of the path of Bhakti-yoga and is one of four foundational books Srila Prabhupada listed to be studied for a degree in Bhakti studies.

This seminar is for those who would like to deepen their understanding of bhakti-yoga through the study of this essential text.
