sa niṣpādya mahā-manāḥ

saṁskṛtya mahatīṁ sthalīm

TRANSLATION
“Having collected all sorts of valuable items for worship of the Lord, the generous brāhmaṇa then saw to the preliminaries, first by purifying a large area on the ground.”
